Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Thursday promised her government would provide Rs 2,500 monthly assistance to women by March 8, and hold the AAP accountable for its previous actions.
Gupta stated the first installment would be credited to eligible women's accounts by International Women's Day.
Slamming the AAP government, Gupta said, "They will have to answer for every penny." She emphasized her government's commitment to fulfilling BJP promises, including financial support for women.
Before her swearing-in at Ramlila Maidan, Gupta visited the Shri Marghat Wale Hanuman Baba temple at Kashmiri Gate. She also stated that fulfilling Prime Minister Modi’s vision was a top priority for all 48 BJP MLAs in Delhi

Earlier in the match, a raucous crowd gave the Chinese players full support as they faced a formidable Pakistan. The game started slow with both teams struggling to find space in each other's defence. However, China kept control of the ball and made more attacks than Pakistan.
BJP MLAs Parvesh Sahib Singh Verma,jiliace Kapil Mishra, Ashish Sood, Manjinder Singh Sirsa, Ravinder Indraj Singh, and Pankaj Singh will be inducted into Gupta's Cabinet, as per a Union Home Ministry gazette notification.
Gupta, former DUSU president and municipal councilor, will be sworn in as Delhi's fourth woman CM at a grand ceremony with PM Modi and other dignitaries in attendance. The BJP secured a historic victory in the Delhi Assembly elections, winning 48 out of 70 seats.
